(School horse use is not available as a 20‑lesson add‑on; school horses pair with 10‑lesson packages only.) Please inquire about leasing or buying if you wish to level up your riding game!

A’La’Carte Lessons (Outside a Package)

  • On a leased or owned horse: $70 per lesson

  • On a school horse: $110 per lesson

Lessons run rain, shine, snow, or ice-age reenactment. Lessons topics vary from horsemanship, stable management, flat work, biomechanics, to jumping and competition prep. Please send your rider with the appropriate outdoor wear each week and with an expectation to learn about ALL aspects of horses, horse care and riding (this means some lessons may be focused on unmounted activities or mounted activities). Time before and after lessons is essential to plan for to allow appropriate tack up time, cool out and tidying of the barns/arena.

Make-Up lessons: Should a RIDER cancel lessons WITH a 24hr notice, Edwards Farms will make every effort to offer a make up opportunity, but does Not guarantee a make-up lesson space will be available. This applies to school horse riders, lease riders and owners. If a COACH cancels, make up lessons will be offered or a credit to your account will be made.

Horse availability: Please note that horse assignments DO change week to week for our School Horse riders. Should you wish to ride a consistent horse in lessons and for rides outside of lesson time; please inquire about leasing.

Linked above is an intake form for Riding Lessons.
